How Do Distributors Source Jetour Parts?

A distributor workflow for identifying Jetour parts and verifying possible Chery interchange before ordering.

Source Jetour parts by VIN and verify every proposed interchange

Distributors should source Jetour parts by the exact market vehicle, VIN, production period and OEM reference. Start from the Jetour parts page, then use the relevant EPC context to identify each component. Jetour belongs to the Chery group, and some systems or parts can overlap, but group ownership never proves interchangeability by itself.

The practical workflow is vehicle identification, part-number confirmation, interchange review where relevant, sample or evidence approval, then commercial quotation. This order prevents a broad request for “Jetour parts” from becoming a mixed list of assumptions.

Use the local model and configuration

Relevant demand may include Dashing, X70, X70 Plus, X90, T2 and T1. Record the full VIN, destination market, model year, production date where available, engine, transmission and drive configuration. Export versions and production changes can alter lamps, connectors, braking systems, suspension or body equipment.

For each part, send the old OEM number, part name, installed position, requested quantity and clear photographs of the label, connector and mounting points. State LH or RH for sided parts. If the number is missing, include an EPC screenshot with the vehicle and diagram context.

Searches from Gulf and African buyers often include UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Ghana or South Africa. Those market names help describe demand, but they are not fitment evidence. Confirm the actual vehicle specification in each destination.

Treat Chery overlap as evidence to investigate

Because Jetour is part of the Chery group, shared platforms, engines, transmissions or supplier systems can create real overlap in selected service, powertrain, chassis or braking parts. Body panels, lamps, trim, software-dependent modules and market-specific electrical parts are less predictable.

Two similar sensors compared closely before accepting a shared reference

Use the detailed Jetour and Chery interchangeability guide before placing shared references into a stock list. Compare complete OEM numbers and supersessions, VIN and EPC application, dimensions, bolt patterns, electrical pins, connectors and software requirements. Use matching-angle photographs and a sample where the commercial risk justifies it.

Label a proposed match confirmed, conditional or unconfirmed. Preserve any limitation by engine, axle, production date or market. A conditional match must not become a universal interchange note in the distributor catalogue.

Build a distributor range from actual demand

Rank the list using workshop consumption, sales history, fleet demand and accident-repair inquiries. Useful planning groups include service filters, braking and suspension wear items, cooling parts, engine service components, sensors, lamps, mirrors, bumpers and selected body parts. The final mix should follow the vehicles in the distributor's market.

Separate core replenishment, new trial applications and customer-specific back orders. PartSail states that MOQ is negotiable from 100–200 sets per SKU and mixed containers are supported. Request exact minimums and carton multiples by line. Consolidation can broaden useful coverage, but do not overbuy an unproven interchange simply to reach a minimum.

Paid samples are available according to PartSail, with sample cost refundable against bulk orders. Confirm the credit condition. Use samples to check identity, dimensions, connectors, marking, finish and packaging, then retain the evidence for batch inspection.

Approve evidence and commercial terms together

The quotation should repeat the buyer's reference, confirmed part number, vehicle application, source or brand, commercial unit, quantity, MOQ, price, packaging, lead time, Incoterm and named place, payment terms and validity. Unresolved items should remain visibly blocked.

Sample, drawing and order form approved together

PartSail lists IATF 16949:2016, ECE R90, ISO 9001:2015 and CE among available certifications. Ask which document applies to the exact SKU and destination; do not turn a company-level list into universal product approval. The importer should confirm current local requirements.

PartSail offers neutral, custom-brand, color-box and bulk export packaging. Its stated production lead time is 15–35 days depending on quantity and customization. Approve artwork and technical evidence before starting the relevant schedule. Before shipment, inspect SKU, quantity, labels, dimensions, visible workmanship and packaging, and reconcile every carton with the packing list.

A dependable Jetour program uses Chery-group knowledge as a research advantage while retaining SKU-level proof. That produces a smaller, defensible range that buyers can reorder with confidence.
